Improve The Odds of Selling Your Home

To improve the odds of selling your home, it is best to consider the color of paint used when selling.  It is now spring 2013, and Panatone, (the creator of color standards for paint companies) says the current hot color is emerald green.  If your wanting to prep your home to sell, you are better serves sticking with neutral colors.  This comes from professional stagers and experts of color.  Now for a few solid tips for selling quick.

Create Warm Feelings
After sorting through a bazillion color strips at Lowe's or Home Depot, settle on colors with a warm cast.  Examples are light beige, creamy white, or any off-white.  Steer away from bright whites and whites with gray or blue undertones. The last two colors are way too cool (in a bad way) and can make your home feel sterile.

Make Your Floor Plan Pop
To make any home feel larger, neutral colors will be your best friend.  Since your selling square footage, use colors that flow from one room to the next without disruption.  The majority of Realtors say that really dark colors are out.  Selling a home requires selling space and light.  It is time to repaint the red or black bedroom your teenager loves.

Incorporate Accessories
Feel free to insert accessories like throws, bedspreads, or pillows to add color to your interior.  These items make a room pop!  This could be a great time to choose emerald green or those colors you love.  This has a two fold effect, as it won't keep people from buying a home as they won't have to repaint.  Now you have successfully improved your odds of selling your home!
